Arrecife: Timanfaya and Green Lagoon for Cruise Passengers

About This Experience

Built around a ship's call at Arrecife, this excursion collects you just beyond the cruise terminal checkpoint and heads straight for the south of the island. Park entry to Timanfaya is included and pre-booked, which matters on a ship's call: entry is now timed and sold online only, so an unbooked walk-up is no longer possible.

Two lengths are sold. The short version is the park itself: the lava fields laid down across six years of continuous eruption, the geothermal demonstrations, and the drive through the crater field. The 5-hour version adds the parts of the south that make the geology make sense — El Golfo's Green Lagoon, a half-submerged crater on the Atlantic shore, and La Geria, where vines are grown in pits dug into volcanic ash.

The camel ride at the Echadero de los Camellos is available on the 5-hour option only, as a paid extra of around €11 for 25 minutes. Check which option you are booking before you assume it is included.
